Very easy to assemble.Just went through a thunder storm and the inside remained dry.
Color is a true gray (on the bluer end of the spectrum, but definitely gray).Wish this came in black, but I adjusted.

I am using this box to put deliveries in and the size is perfect for most of what gets delivered to our house. It was very easy to put together, no tools, snapped together perfectly. The bottom is not as snug as the sides, but is fine.
