Good size shed, seems well made and happy with the result. We won’t be storing anything really heavy, but I still recommend a good foundation (wood or concrete) – which adds significantly to the cost so factor that in. There are a few videos on the web that can give you a bit more comfort with assembly and you can download the directions to get the plan for the base. Follow the directions closely – particularly the subfloor. The marked spacing on the joists is not center-to-center, which I missed at first.Though they recommend 2 people, I assembled it alone without too much difficulty, but a second person would have made it go faster. I spent about 3 hours on the foundation, about 3 in pre-assembly, and then another 3-4 or so actually building and adding shelves. As several folks noted, pulling the roof down tight enough to screw is tricky, but I used a ratchet strap across the roof and it worked well. Definitely some gaps that might lead to insects getting in so caulking is a good idea. Overall happy with the result. Hope it holds up.

Wayfair, Thank you for offering these sheds for sale. After several weeks, the Suncast Shed was delivered. Shed assembly can take 6-8 hrs to assemble, we took breaks during assembly and finished up in 8 hrs. The shed has already survived several severe thunderstorms that passed through our area with no leaks. Highly recommended.

Awesome shed! Recommendations take your time follow each step in order. However, I would complete step 36 ahead of step 31 so you can screw metal roof bracket into top of frontrear headers. Do Not screw down roof (Steps 34-35) until you get all screw boss (underside roof) inline on both sides with the metal supports. This makes it a lot easier and keeps everything looking good and square. It took me approx 8 hrs to complete. I had help just for the roof section. Once complete,I was able to position on the slab no problem. Im very happy with my shed!

With the price of building materials going through the roof these days. We decided on this shed cheaper than a raw material shed while being maintenance free, but don’t get me wrong its still pricey. This is a good size shed, even though this is our second. This shed will be used primarily for garden supplies and outdoor supplies i.e some camping gear, yard games and bicycles.
    Assembly:
After doing some research and combing thru a lot of reviews. My wife and I decided to tackle on this project. Our time frame was to have it completely assembly in about 4-5 hrs, like most reviewers had mentioned. We completed ours in about 6hrs, which wasn’t bad. We went at a casual pace, this wasn’t a race. I primarily did all the fastening of the hardware, with a racheting screwdriver, do not use a powered driver you will possibly strip the plaastic. My wife read the instructions and lent a extra hand where needed. There are a lot of fasteners, especially in the roof system. About 90% of the fasteners were being fastened to some sort of plastic. So extra attention was made not to over tighten these fasteners.
The letters “JJ” will be forever engraved into my brain, you’ll see what I mean. There are about 300~ of these little guys.
This shed was assembled on a existing concrete pad, little short in depth so we used some pavers that extended out the back.
Overall, very pleased with this purchase. Shed seems to be quite sturdy and solid, yet I will not be leaning anything of substantial weight against the sidewalls. What I think will be a lifesaver for us, is that it will be in the shade 80% of the day. But we do get some frigid temps in the winter, but the shed would not be in use during that time.

So far, so good. Seems to be sturdy and decent quality. My teenage son and I put it together in about 4-5 hrs. The interior gets good light from windows and skylights. We have had one major rain storm and the interior remained dry. Hopefully it continues to weather nicely. I definitely would recommend.

It wasn’t completely easy since it was mom and teenager, but we finished it in 1 weekend. And love it, it doesn’t leak and we tore down our old rubber shed for more workspace and now this is my workshop and plenty of storage!
