Does exactly what it says! The 2 pics are taken in the day time one with flash and the other without….no light coming through!

I initially ordered these in black, as I was expecting the light versions to not block enough light for my husband’s man cave of an office. (He likes total darkness in the room…weirdo!) I’ve purchased at least four types of “blackout curtains” that totally let light in, but was pleasantly surprised that these actually work.
I exchanged the black ones for the Stone color and will be keeping them.
As a heads up, these curtains are very satiny, which makes them appear quite feminine and glam. I almost returned them because they looked completely out of place in the dark, manly office. However, after chucking them in the dryer (high, 20 minutes) to get the fold lines out, I accidentally hung one panel upside down, with the rod going through what should be the bottom hem. While this probably won’t fly for those who care greatly for interior design, it totally works for us— the lack of ruffles on the top makes them look way less fancy, and more appropriate for a manly space. So, if you buy them and think, “Shoot. These look ridiculously fancy for this room,” try flipping them!
To demonstrate their blackout-ability, one photo is in the office, while it’s still light outside, flash on and ceiling light off. The black photo is with the flash off. Pretty darn dark!

I spent so much money trying to find the perfect black out curtain for our movie room ..i went to different stores and it got so frustrating to the point that i gave up ..none of the curtains i purchased worked ..i decided to order these ones on wayfair .. Have nothing to lose anyway ..and what a surprise ..they are really black out ..no light goes through them ..Amazing !!!!..so happy with my purchase ..really a black out curtains ..the pics showing how good they are ..

I love the curtains they are a total block of light, of the cold and beautiful addition to my décor. When I need light I just open. The fabric is excellent quality real substance. They went from package to hanging. I would recommend for any room.

These are awesome! They really are black out curtains, good soft material. Purchased in pearl, so its like a light silver. They were a little short, but if you turn them upside down and lose that ruffle at the top then its the right length. Great product and a good deal, highly recommend
