I ordered 3 and hired two guys to put them together.It took them about 5 hours to assemble so I’m REALLY glad I didn’t do it myself.That said, they are super sturdy and really cute.The kids love them and I love the look.

ARRIVAL: This was our first Wayfair purchase, and we’re very happy. Reading the other reviews, I was concerned about shipping damage. I even tried unsuccessfully to talk my wife out of the “white” because the dings would show… Boxes arrived looking a little banged up, but the parts were completely unblemished, not a crack, chip or scratch on any of it, and nothing missing. I checked. And no chemical smell, as mentioned in other bed reviews.
ASSEMBLY: The first 2 hours of assembly were a breeze, the 3rd hour was undoing my own screw-up misreading the directions, and the 4th was with both the kids “helping”.That said, if you use a cordless drill with allen wrench and phillips head attachments, read the directions carefully, and maybe have a partner to hold some pieces in place, this can be slapped together in 120 minutes. Easy. If you choose to crank it together with the allen wrench provided, you are a masochist or a fool and deserve what you get.
RESULTS: Looks great, sturdy as anything. Supports Dad, who’s unfortunately pushing 240. Monsters aged 2 and 5 are all over it, love it for playing as much as sleeping.Lots of slats with double nylon straps holding them together, sturdier than any I’ve seen. The slanted ladder is so much better for the little one, works just like the ladder to our slide out back, she is up and down like a billy goat. Room for both to sit up in lower and upper bunk with 8 ft ceilings. And room underneath for storage, hiding monsters, or hiding from monsters.
SUMMARY: It’s only been a month or so, but so far so good. And at this price I can’t imagine a better deal.

Great bunk beds – I actually bought two sets for my grandkids for when they visit. It took us 5 hours to put both sets togetherso that wasn’t too bad. Great price and great quality – the kids loved the beds!

The bed is exactly as pictured! Seems very sturdy for 2 young rambunctious boys. Didn’t take very long at all to build. It was recommended from a mattress retailer that a bunkey board would be needed for slats more than 2 inches apart. Theses slats are 3 1/4 apart. Did not build as a bunk bed as my boys are still quite young. I look forward to the bed with holding their craziness to someday make into a bunk. Love it!

I’d definitely recommend this bunk bed!! I love it. My kids love it. Its very sturdy and everything arrived well packed and labeled with all instructions. I love how the beds can separate while it allowed me to transition my sons slowly from my room to theirs..I’ve also had adults sleep in the bottom bunk without any problems!! Great bed!

We purchased these bunk beds in the Navy color and my boys LOVE it! Only two complaints – not all pieces were labeled -which made it a little harder to put together – and we needed to add some brackets to keep the beds together (our boys are quite active and we feared if they jumped off of them they could separate(it would take a crazy jump – but we feel better with them securely fastened together!

I built this sucker by myself (well, with two little monkeys under 4yrs old helping me) successfully! Everything does need to be laid out and read before starting because its a pain if you put a piece in the wrong way. Pretty self explanatory for the most part though. We have a super tiny room and this was the only bunk bed I could find that would fit and isnt super high, so their heads dont hit the ceiling. Weve had this for a couple years now and still love it and no issues with anything breaking. I also like that theres enough space under the bed to fit baskets (of toys or clothes), and we also store the crib mattress under the bed.

We purchased the blue version of this bed.Other reviewers are correct that the assembly instructions are terrible, the components are unmarked or mismarked so do not trust the markings.The bed is terriffic.Very sturdy, nice looking, with a nice finish and color — the bed looks like a much more expensive piece.One caveat to be aware of is that the top bunk is quite low (good if you have low ceilings or for a younger child) so the clearance between the beds is minimal.An older child (or adult) will not be able to sit up in the bottom bunk.Our son does not seem to mind.Definitely recommend this bed.
