Great electric grill, not gas or propane as the description read.Not what I expected (i.e., it’s an electric grill) but it’s a decent grill so I’m keeping it.The bottom of the bowl is high-temp ABS plastic, so it’s very light and not hot to the touch.Lid is metal but doesn’t get too hot either, even at max temp.Grill cooking surface gets very hot on max but has good adjustability to lower temps as well.2/3 is grooved grill, 1/3 is flat griddle.I’ve used both, but only the grill portion drains into the grease pan, the griddle contains whatever you put on it.The non-stick coating is great so far. We’ll see how long it stays that way and update as needed.
Few tips:
Be careful unpacking.One of the stand/post pieces fell out of the styrofoam as I was unpacking it and fell on the metal lid, leaving a tiny dent.So unpack slowly.
– Assembly was easy.You may have extra triangular/circular rubber doohickeys in the box and wonder where they go.These are needed in the 5 or 6 spots where the grill surface inserts into the grill base.
– The condiment/beverage tray doesn’t have drainage holes, so you may want to drill a few to keep the tray and cup holders from filling up with water, if your grill is out in the elements and/or if you clean the tray by hosing it off.
– Overall, very pleased.
