We ordered several of these for all the doors in our home. We were also able to get the keyed entry lock and deadbolt keyed so that they were both the same key; preventing multiple keys.

I liked these entry locks at my former house so well I installed them again at my new townhome. At the time I sold my home, I had these on for about 10 years. The bolt is longer (approx. 1 1/2 inches); the installation is smooth & the printed instructions are clear/easy to follow; the keypad is sturdy, the print of the numbers don’t fade over time & use; the brass remains shiny, does not pit or fade and security of my home has been guaranteed.
You’re able to set codes for your children to use on a daily basis (no lost keys) as well as set a temporary code for contractors who need to get in to do their work. When the workers have completed their work you simply change the code. There are no keys to hand out for people to lose.

For those who have family members who cannot manage a doorknob due to physical challenges they will be able to easily open & close doors. The locks are attractive and well made. You can conveniently walk the family dog without the need for a key, yet when you leave on vacation you can lock the deadbolt as well as the keypad ensuring security while you are away. I highly recommend these locks. I purchased/used the deadbolts in conjunction with the numeric keypads to insure the security of my home.
UPDATE OVER A YEAR LATER: The deadbolts are still in place, still shiny and functional. We use the deadbolt when we want to lock out those adult children who have had to move in with us, when we need a little privacy. Goes REALLY well with our Schlage Bright Brass Steel Electronic Keypad Entry Locks.

Great product as its Schlage. Easy to install and comes with all the parts. Part supplied didn’t quite fit the footplate on the door frame so kept the old one in place and didn’t switch it out. Also it does not come with a faceplate for the door so left my old one intact and I’ll need to paint it. The color is great.
