The Rodney Filing cabinet is beautiful. It looks like a piece of furniture not a filing cabinet. It is a long way from the ugly metal cabinet I remember as a child! The charm of this cabinet is just one of the things I was impressed by. The cabinet is very sturdy and while it’s not solid wood it is still very nice. The instructions and packaging, you can see the pics but each pack had the coordinating step labeled on the pack…I buy a lot of furniture items online and this was the most organized easy instructions I have ever come across. It did take 2 hrs to put together but it was easy to follow instructions and like I said construction and quality was great.

First off, shipping was way quicker than expected- zero damage done to any pieces. Assembly took some time but I enjoy doing these kinds of things… I built it by myself in a couple hours. Okay, so the material is not solid wood, it is mdf but it is still beautiful. And to anyone complaining that the drawers don’t line up once you assemble them into the main unit: there are directions on how to adjust the front pieces of the drawers to make them line up perfectly (just like any other unit you purchase and have to build yourself).I bought this unit on sale and have absolutely no complaints. Was well worth it. I’ll be purchasing a matching desk to go along with it. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.
