Approximate how much area you want to shade. Triangle, square, or rectangle depending on the number of existing poles, roofs, trees, concrete walls, etc. Use cable wires to connect the shade sail to the hardware if necessary. If you don’t use cable wires, keep a 0.5 – 2 ft space between D rings and poles to give space for the hardware kits that come with adjustable turnbuckles to tighten & create tension.
Edges are finished with heavy-duty double-layered reinforced stitched seams, which prevent frayed edges and keep the shade sail in shape, stainless D rings are attached to each corner for easy installation, and corners are constructed with an extra amount of stitched seams to maximize the strength of D rings.
Measurement is taken from corner to corner. Edges are made slightly curved based on precisely calculated radian to help the shade sail stay tight and neat after installation and to prevent the shade sail from sagging in the middle. If you prefer straight edges, please contact us for a custom order.

I’ve had mesh tarps made from the same fabric as this sail hanging around my Endless Pool for a few seasons now, and they show NO signs of weather damage. It’s amazing! I was happy to find the same fabric available in a larger size as a Sail.
I have an open carport, and this giant will cover the entire end and protect my vehicles and stored items from the sun & rain. It’s very well made (unlike the cheapo versions I’ve bought in the past). No runaway or missing stitching,the corners are reinforced/banded, and the “D” rings are plenty heavy duty. The color options even made it possible for me to match all of the sails/tarps to the roof of my yurt :).Recommended.

True to color for the beige. The woven fabric seems sturdy and durable while the stitching appears even and well done. The anchor points appear as if they will last as well given the extra reinforcement. It will provide great shade on our back deck.

Sun Shades are the best!Under the shade is often 20 degrees cooler than the uncovered parts of the yard.Makes it possible for my dog to go out and do her business without burning her feet – and we can enjoy craft time with the grandkids at the table.

This 14‘ x 18‘ rectangular shade sale by royal shade is a very good product it is easy to put up and have shade wherever you need it for animals people to enjoy the great outdoors, this is made out of very durable fabric to withstand heavy winds and yes I do recommend this product

This sunshade looks great. This was a space with full sun that I had trouble getting umbrellas to work in. Ordered the sand beige color and it works well with the patio color scheme. It was super easy to install, especially since I had the poles up for yard lighting, but needed at least 2 people to get it hung. And the sail it self is very heavy duty and will handle the elements. Highly recommend.
