There’s nothing quite like the smell of warm bread on the weekend. Here, our terracotta plate has been engraved with a flower design and cut to fit neatly into a round basket. This special bread warmer is naturally insulating, and the basket itself has been handwoven from sustainably grown seagrass. It’s the best gift item for anyone who loves bread! Each product is designed and curated by Rosalind Wheeler, and sustainably handmade by Fair Trade artisans in Bangladesh.

How to Care for This Item Bread warmer: Wipe the stone clean with a damp cloth. Dry well. Not dishwasher safe. Basket: Dust or vacuum your basket on a regular basis, wiping it with a damp cloth if necessary. Do not rub stains or spills from your basket, as this may spread the stain and loosen the natural fibers. Whitewash can be removed with pressure water, or by hand. Do not put the basket in the oven. Be sure to dry properly after water damage. Be sure to keep out of direct sunlight, or color can change and fade.

Who doesn’t love warm bread?So to me, this is a fantastic addition to my table because everyone knows as soon as you take the rolls out of the oven, they get cold before hitting the table. It’s so easy; just put the beautiful terracotta plate in either the oven or microwave, and then, before placing it in the super cute basket, wrap it with a lovely towel or cloth napkin. The quality of both the basket and flower terracotta plate is excellent and functional. I am going to get a lot of use from this. Enjoy!

You heat the terracotta plate up in microwave or oven and the place your bread on top and cover to keep the bread warm. Beautiful basket and terracotta plate with a flower on it.
