This crate is really big & roomy for 40 lbdog. We had a smaller wire crate from when our girl was a pup, but outgrew it. Only thing is she can’t see us at nite like she used to in wire crate as this blocks her sight more, but I think she’ll get used to it. But I like that she can actually stand up & turn around in it where she couldn’t do that before in the smaller wire crate. It is a Room of her own!:)
