While it includes 20 panels & 121 fasteners, the parts labeling and instruction diagrams made it an easy but (for me at age 80) time-consuming assembly.The results were well worth the effort as the completed project looks fantastic and is a highly functional addition to our kitchen.

Great product. Very easy directions. Solid and beautiful storage island. Put it together myself in 4 hours. Definitely would buy this again. All pieces marked!!! Nicer than expected in every way.

I LOVE this island!!! It is really good quality! The top is heavy and not a cheap piece of wood. Took me about 3.5 hours to put together by myself. I’m not a handyman (woman) but I think the directions are great and easy to understand. You can put this together alone but it is helpful to have someone lift the top and you guide it into place. I saw another commenter say they took the the towel rack off. I did too. It will stick out about 3.5 in past the top. (From the end of the brown top, take a tape measurer and measure 3.5 inches out. Hope that makes sense.) Keep that in mind if you have a small space. Try to decide before you assemble, because one screw won’t come out because a part of the wood covers the hole. I had to undo and loosen some screws to get it out. A little frustrating.
Also, make sure the bottom of the island has the groove on the opposite side as the shelves. I didn’t notice it in the directions and then had to undo a lot of work. The groove on the bottom is where piece #20 will slide into. It’s the flimsy board that is the back of the cabinet.
Piece #20 came damaged. It is the flimsy board that is the back of the cabinet section. I have contacted Wayfair. They are looking into getting me another one. I was still able to use the damaged one and complete the project. But I would like one that’s not damaged.
This is a perfect prep table and just great for my kitchen and family!
