The box is HEAVY so FYI to those with flights of stairs to go up (I opened the box downstairs and carried the pieces upstairs individually). As for building, it is a lot. It took me 2-3 hours, but it was super easy. Instructions were simple. I just put on a movie and went to work. It comes with a screwdriver, but I’d recommend an electric drill because otherwise your hands will hurt! 😀 All in all, I’m very happy with this purchase.
