It’s oval shaped. That wasnt made clear in the description but I should have realized that when I saw the demensions and it didnt have equal width and length measurements.With that said, the piece is still beautiful and works awesome. Throws great heat and light. Worth every penny. Make sure your fire pit area/patio is at least 14 feet wide because this piece is large and you will want space to sit back. (It takes up 4 feet in the middle of the area.)
