Quast 1 Door Accent Cabinet

Looks amazing in my treatment room!

I am really pleased with this item.I paid $115, not $189.

I purchased this because I needed a little extra storage in our kitchen.I try to stick with 100% real wood (this is MDF, fiberboard) but we had a large home project going on, so I bought this as a temporary solution for a year or two.I was going to chalk paint it, but it really does not look that bad (MDF furniture has come a long way).I got the Black Oak finish.

As with any furniture purchase, unpack it and make sure all the pieces are there and not damaged.I find Wayfair has extremely good customer service so if you have a problem with a missing or damaged piece, just reach out to them.

I am a 50+ year old woman and I assembled this on my own (it took me a few hours).Attaching the door was a bit cumbersome so you may want to have help with that.I found the smaller screws a bit hard to work with – holes for these screws were not drilled, they just provided a small starting hole.I had my husband tighten a few of the small screws that I could not get tight.

The instructions were excellent – well written, clear.The hardware was separated into numbered bags, each of the boards was lettered with a sticker, so when the instructions cited certain hardware and certain boards, you knew exactly what it was referring to.Each step in the instructions told you which hardware you needed for the step and how many of the hardware pieces you needed for the step.For example, for step 1, you need 4 of the cam bolts in bag #1,7 of the dowels in bag #3, 10 of the screws in bag #10.And then step 1 involved wood pieces A, B and E (again, all the wood pieces had lettered stickers on them).

All the holes lined up perfected so I did not have any trouble with that.Again, I did have trouble with the smaller screws.

It is solid.The middle shelf is stationary cannot be moved/removed, the upper and lower shelves can be moved/removed.

So all in all, I recommend this item!

I love it! Much taller than I thought. I’m ordering a second one for the other side of the tv. The bunny cage takes up so much space, so I decided to go with this particular case.

Love these accent cabinets. It fits perfectly beside my barn door entertainment center.The instructions are simple and easy to follow. It also has options to turn the orientation of the door from left to right.

Very handy to hide things in the living room. They look like real wood even though is just laminated. I love this cabinet, I bought 2.
