Again with my pyrex prepware obsession, I couldn’t go without adding the 4-quart bowl to my collection. I have a complete set of Pyrex prepware mixing bowls, from 4-oz to this 4-quartz monster. I use this one when I’m making big batches of pasta sauces, chili, soups, red beans and rice, or multiple loaves of bread. In fact, if I’m only making one loaf, I still use this one to let the dough rise it. These bowls nest handily, so I can store them all in the space it takes to place the 4-quart in the cabinet. Easily cleaned, this adds no taste to the food, nothing absorbs into the glass.
