Works better than all of the other options I’ve tried for my older dog with a leaky bladder. The back is sort of plastic or rubber But it is the only cover I’ve used that really does keep the liquid from leaking through to the sofait is thickcomfortable for me to sit on with him. Also holds up in the washerdryer. The paw prints are an added bonus
