Finally, somebody got it right.I love fresh butter at room temperature.The problem is with regular butter dishes that are flat, the butter smears and makes a mess of the soft butter.Butter bowls are usually round and do not fit the stick form of butter.I’ve tried pyrex containers but they have no handles on top and are hard to deal with.This bowl is perfect for 2 sticks of butter.Most people do not know that butter stays fresh for at least 2 weeks or longer on the table.I liked the design of this butter dish so much that I ordered another one and may order again due to the fact I will always have an extra on hand while the other is in the dishwasher.

Oh my gosh! Finally a butter dish that holds those bigger butter sticks from Kerry Gold. Or, it will hold 2 regular sticks of butter. It is very nice, not too heavy. I bought 2, one arrived broken but was quickly replaced by customer service!

I was looking for a neutral color and style that was a covered pot! It is hand made and the lid sits in perfectly in one position better than the other, but it is beautiful on the counter or table.

This butter dish is fantastic.It holds more than one stick of butter.The color goes with everything.I love that the lid has a knob on it.I have dropped and broken my last 2butter dishes that had a lid but not a knob due to them slipping out of my hands while washing them. This is perfect for me.

Very pretty butter dish – can fit two stick of butter easily – I did notice the lid wasn’t an exact fit however it did not detract from the overall product.the product seems very well made and the packaging was very nice if you were going to give this product as a gift.
Pros: Small enough to not be obtrusive but big enough to hold two sticks of butter

Love this little dish!Perfect if you want soft better!FYI – One side is straights and the other side is curved slightly so I put the straighter side against the wall – this also means the lid can only go on one way.

Purchased this along with the covered bowl by Sophie Conran and love them both.I’ve been looking for a unique butter dish with a cover that looks more substantial than just a plain “butter dish” and this is it.Love this and I’ve also used for cranberry sauce and cream cheese when company is here.

I realized that I hated my messy covered butter dish. It had no handle to get the top off. This one is just perfect for our needs. We leave our butter out at room temp. and it had to look good and function well. This holds 2 or 3 sticks of butter at a time and the cover has a little knob on the top. It’s pretty adorable! Love this thing!
