I looked at many fireplacegrates before I decided on this one. I remember how durable my grandmother’s cast iron pans were and felt a cast iron grate would last just as long.I am so pleased with this and the ease of assembly. It was just two screws and two nuts and it’s a perfect fit.I measured numerous times to make sure it would not be too small or too large and it was perfect. When I initially assembled this and set it in my fireplace, it was a bit wobbly and sat unevenly.The remedy to this was to just adjust the screw in the slot on one side and it was perfect.Would highly recommend!
