This is just one beautiful piece. It was WAY beyond my expections. If you measure your opening, there is still a bit of extra room on the sides and since the top is arched, it adds a touch that says it cost more than it did. It brought our entire room together. The two doors that open are a must for putting the wood in and the doors close tightly so no gaps for burning “pieces” to escape. The best part, besides the looks, is that it is heavy enough to hold its own.
All in all, a very sturdy, beautiful and functional piece to add richness to your room.

Great quality.I just wish it had a measurement before ordering to know what it would cover on my fireplace opening.I have about a one inch top of the fireplace corners showing.It still looks great.My fireplace opening is 36 1/4″ (width) x 27″ (height).So, if your fireplace is 36 x 26 or smaller, this is the perfect size.

Adds some panache to our den.As previously stated by other buyers, the colour is not at all copper, but we knew that going in. we wanted a dark oil rubbed look and that is what “copper” is. Our fireplace stones on hearth are large and uneven such that front legs were a tiny bit unstable, but we just cut and added small felt pads underneath front of legs, and the screen overall feels very stable now. We are Wayfair newbies, but will use again based on this experience.

It covers my opening of 34″ wide and 26 1/2″ high. The curved endleaves only a very small 1″ not covered on
each top side by the screen. Screen actually measures 31 1/2″ high top of arch by 38 1/4 “wide. Outer edge is 26” high It is heavy and brackets or feet stabilize it well and it sits flush against the fireplace depending on the type of wall
it sits against.Can think of no cons!!!
