It’s okay for your pet to gnaw at the steps; they’re getting calcium, similar to pecking at a cuttlebone. Easy Mounting: Each of our Trimmer Plus Cement & Wood Ladders feature a natural wooden frame, along with metal hooks that easily attach to all wire cages. Measurements: 9.5” (H) x 2.75” (W) x 0.4” (D). This ladder is great for small birds, including parakeets. *This product, as any other, is subject to wear, and should be removed if deterioration is evident.
