Without a second’s hesitation, I give the Devonshire Fireplace Mantel Shelf five stars. It is beautifully constructed and stained in rich cherry tones. The carvings are exceptional. It adds the perfect crowning touch to our lovely, but plain stone fireplace.

Absolutely beautiful! This is one of the best purchases I ever made for my home. It is gorgeous. I can’t imagine a style that this mantel would not complement. The hanger is wonderful. The mantel just hangs like a picture on the wall and is easy to remove if you need to – which we did when hanging a new TV. Just pull up on it, and it comes off the hanger. I painted mine white to go with my trim and it makes the fireplace elegant and wonderful. I stapled a few narrow ribbons on the back which I can pull forward when I want to hang stockings or greens…I just tie them on the ribbons and afterwards, lay the ribbons towards the back until needed again.

Absolutely the best thing I have ever brought from Wayfair.I got this to replace a “rustic” one that was put up when my home was built in 1965.This is so classy.The gentlemen I asked to put up could not believe how easy it was to install as the mantel was completely assembled.He only had to drill a few holes to attach the ledger board and voila…it was up.So pretty, beautiful finish! And, the hidden “pearl” inlay signifying the manufacturer which is in Tennessee USA!
