These shakers are very large and are well marked as to which is salt and pepper.I bought them to use beside my stove when cooking and they are perfect.They hold a great deal of salt or pepper so that I am not constantly refilling.I love them.

Cons: wish there were more color options, but they are very nice.

I was a little wary after reading the reviews which conveyed these were quite a bit larger than the normal size of shakers.I really did not know how I should visualize them in my head.I love the size.Yes, large is the word to use but don’t let the words enormous or huge creep into your visualization.They are of good quality, simplistic but modern looking and make a positive statement to those (like me) who would be impressed by someone’s salt and pepper shakers to a degree that I wanted the same.
