Love this, It kept the cheese fondue at a nice, heated level, it did not burn it.It also is very nice looking.

Solid product. Good quality set. Both the base and the pot feel solid and good quality. Used for cheese, oil, and chocolate fondues so far. Cheese and chocolate were unqualified success. Oil – so-so but it’s the flaw in the concept, not product.
Here are my peeves with this product:
1) Instruction book is very scant focusing on how not to kill yourself while using it. I expected a recipe book with guide what heat settings to use during which phases or each fondue type. Having to discover this by trial and error.
2) There is only one pot and no possibility to order an additional one (it is a special kind, so a regular one wouldn’t work well. It took me 20 minutes to scrub it from the aftermath of cheese fondue which makes it impractical to have more than one fondue course during a meal.
3) all 6 forks are identical – would have been nice to have them color coded.
