Our newly purchased house has 6 different types of flooring on the first floor alone (hardwood, laminate, 2 types of tile and 2 different carpets). The plan is to rip everything up and put in new hardwood… But thats going to have to wait a couple years. What couldnt wait was the disgusting carpet in the guest bedroom.
I wasnt expecting much from this purchase… But I LOVE them! Amazing what these carpet tiles and a couple gallons of paint will do to a room.Still need to finish decorating, but couldnt be happier with this purchase!
The tiles are easy to install. We installed right over the existing carpet pad and they are sticking fine, no issues vacuuming.

Worked well for my commercial space.
I have low level DIY skills and ambitions and this was an achievable project for me. Cutting the tiles was hard but still do-able.
The bland tiles are blah but do help to keep a busy pattern from getting too out of hand.
Like other reviewers will say – wish it had more variations of the colorful tiles. I bought 28 boxes and had 16 different patterns to work with to make my herringbone design.
Over order to get the colors you want and to replace any that go bad through the years.
When I first laid the tiles, they were fairly straight and tight but have contracted a bit around the slightly gappy areas so keep things very tight when installing!
The 4 strips of glue seemed like it wouldn’t be enough but it really works well! Actually, when I dry fit the tiles together, it was hard to get them back apart to peel of the glue strips because the rubber backing fit so tightly.
Most of the height of the piles in carpet tiles were the same but there were 1 or 2 designs that had a higher pile. The higher pile is noticeable when walking but it’s not so bad that you trip.
Prior to installing, I primed my subfloor with a primer that grips to carpet glue. Not sure if it made a difference BUT I’ve had no loose tiles or anything pop up, so it might be worth your investment too.

I love them! The tiles were easy to install. Easy to cut, and beautiful. However my order arrived in different shipments and unfortunately the backing were in three different style and thickness. It made it a little time consuming to adjust them. Before sending an order, please make sure that the product is all from the same batch.Other wise I love It.
