I have spent about two months looking for bathroom fixtures as we have been doing a major update of our master bedroom bathroom.
First, I know from doing several remodeling projects over the years that Moen is an outstanding company, their products are first-rate quality, and they back their products with excellent warranty coverage and service.
For this project I spent about two months looking at new faucets and shower controls that would be matching in style and finish.I settled on the “Belfield” collection, and the first thing I purchased was two “Belfield” faucets for our double sink.
I purchased them from Wayfair, which had a better price this product than other sources, and they arrived promptly.
As for giving them a “stars” rating, I cannot offer any direct input on performance because our renovation project is still ongoing and we need to install a new granite vanity top before we can install the faucets.
But I can tell you that the faucets are handsome in their style, very heavy and well made, and the chrome finish sparkles.So, I hope this information is helpful to anyone else looking to update a bathroom or purchase new faucets for a bathroom sink.
Oh, and one other thing–I read LOTS of reviews about faucets before making a selection and one comment I saw in many reviews that caught my eye was to be sure that whatever faucet I buy it should be “high arc.”
That means, simply, that you want the end of the faucet where the water comes out to be aimed toward the center of the sink.Many reviewers complained about buying a faucet where the water spout came out straight (parallel to the countertop and then made an abrupt 90 degree angle facing down.The complaint is that the water is being dispensed so close to the back of the sink bowl that when someone would try to wash their hands, water would often be splashing up on the back side of the sink bowl, necessitating constant cleanup and wiping.
