Fan is as described but looks even better in person. Purchased the distressed koa and it is beautiful. Comes with a 6″ downrod which was not long enough for our ceiling. I had toorder a 24″ matching distressed koa downrod in order to install but thankfully Minka makes and offers longer matching downrods. Very quiet and comes with a remote.
Pros: great value, nice finishes, quiet and comes with a remote.
Cons: downrods included are only 3.5″ and 6″. Had to order a longer downrod from Minka (through Wayfair). Thankfully, they are available.

This fan moves a ton of air even at the lowest speed, yet it is very quiet. From the measurements, I thought it was going to be big, but it looks fairly compact once you install it on the ceiling. The remote comes with a sleeve that can be mounted on a wall. We bought the koa model and visitors who come into our family room for the first time remark on how beautiful this fan is.

Beautiful product.We have two of them.Did have to special order a sloped ceiling adapter, as our ceiling was more sloped than what could be accommodated with the included adapter.No big deal. $20 at a local lighting store.Love them.More than adequate movement of air on three speeds with the included remote.Our electrician commented on how attractive these fans are and couldn’t believe the reasonable pricing for a Minka.
