This 40 piece bone china dinnerware set, service for 8 was delivered last week.Upon checking the shipment, all pieces arrived without any breaks or chips. The set is perfect for what I wanted; a set of dishes that would be timeless and could be dressed up or down depending upon on the need.I am very pleased with this set.

I, like others, had to request a replacement bowl for this set.Wayfair was absolutely amazing with their customer service on this and sent me an entire new set.It was surprising to me that the second set arrived with the same exact bowl broken.I don’t think this is a Wayfair issue.It appears that it is probably more of a Mikasa issue.I saw a review on here from someone who said they had found imperfections in the set.I found none of that and they are perfect in every way and are completely beautiful in their simplicity.Before placing them in the hutch I put them through the dishwasher on the delicate cycle and they came through with flying colors.I’m very excited to be hosting my first dinner party in my new home soon with this set.Thank you Wayfair!

The Mikasa Delray bone china set was just what I was looking for – the finish is perfect, the colour is a warm, almost translucent pure white, and the bowls and mugs are a usable size. I ordered 2 sets, and one bowl in one of them arrived broken. I replied to the email that came the day of delivery to ask if I was happy of the set, informing Wayfair of the damage and attaching a photo of the broken bowl, and asking that they send a replacement bowl.Wayfair immediately addressed the broken piece by sending another entire set, which arrived in perfect condition, and told me to dispose of the extra set as I wished. I was extremely impressed with both the set and with Wayfair’s customer service, and will order from them again.

UPDATE Wayfair replaced the chipped parts, and now I’ve had a chance to use the mugs…not at all dainty! They can withstand the microwave no problem, and even with a busy household of chaos, they’ve stood up to both hot and cold drinks, microwave ‘cake in a cup’, and have even survived a dog’s tail sending it flying!! I’d 100 recommend this set to anyone! And Wayfair too!!

Quick and easy to fill, small enough to have around without getting in the way near computer or laptop, yet big enough to get my teens to eat their healthy snacks again!!

The plates, stacked, take up only 4-5 inches height in the cupboard. The bowls could be stacked to six in my cupboard, but they are pretty wobbly stacked higher than 4-5. Same with the dessert bowls.
