I highly recommend these counter stools. It has been about a week now since I purchased them and I have received nothing but positive comments from my friends who have visited. I was pretty picky about what I needed in a counter stool – 1) it had to have a back, 2) it had to be upholstered and comfortable, 3) modern look, 4) metal build, and 5) foot rest. The metal part is really important here because I’ve had wood counter stools before where the foot rest broke when people put excessive force on them. Don’t really want to be the person who warns all their guests prior to them entering the place to be careful about the counter stools. These stools feel super sturdy, but are surprisingly lightweight.
As with any shipped furniture, there were minor dings here and there if you really look, but not enough for me to want anything else. It does seem like some screws were screwed in better than others, but again, for the price, I’m just planning on getting a tool box and screwing them in myself. They’re not issues that compromise the chair’s strength nor aesthetics.
The chairs come packaged in 2’s and there is no assembly, which is a big, big win.
