A truer rating would probably be 4.5 stars, it’s a very solid unit and a good walnut color. I feel encouraged to now order the rest of the Sinclaire collection, just hoping that the color match is a good one when all the pieces sit together. Doesn’t feel cheaply made but the half a star I would deduct was due to assembly. It wasn’t overly complicated, it’s just my advice would be to keep a rubber mallet handy to help with lining parts up, and there will certainly be some moments where an extra set of hands will feel critical. I was torn between this bookcase or the 9 cube version. I’m glad I went with this one because of the slightly lower profile.

We love this bookcase. We are using for records and there is so much room for them. At first we thought it was a little wobbly but when we realized we had pieces to keep the back stable it was great. If you are looking for something to hold turntable and vinyl this is great.
