The mattress is great very soft. What they don’t tell you is that you need to fluff it if you want it to expand fully. Scrunch it up, pat it forcefully and the the stuffing will fluff to the 4 inches and look like the picture. Very comfortable!

So, getting this foam futon, which is so much lighter than our futon bed that our son uses, has been just the thing. It is firm and my daughter and her partner slept well. It comes with a cover to roll it up in for storage and with two coverlets so we can wash after use. Great investment!
