For what you pay for I’ll give it 5 stars. It’s just a bunch of particle board, but the unit is fairly sturdy. We definitely plan to anchor it to the wall for added protection in a kid’s room. It took me (a 7.5 month pregnant lady) almost 2 hours to assemble. I definitely went slowly and moved pieces carefully. My husband helped me nail the backing on, which we spent a little extra time to ensure we nailed in the correct spots. For what the product is, I think it’s great and is a perfect addition to our nursery. We purchased the Blonde Oak color which actually ended up being the slightest bit lighter than what I originally expected, but it still works for us. I saw another reviewer comment about the stupid GIANT warning label in the upper right corner, which is totally frustrating. We will try to remove it or get another container storage thing to place in front of it. Overall, I’m happy with this piece!

I didn’t want a shelf to overtake the room but also wanted a lot of storage. This shelf is perfect and looks great. My son is 17 months and can reach his toys and books. We did anchor it to the wall to avoid tipping over.
