Absolutely worth having for chopping and slicing in the kitchen. It’s fortunately one solid piece, rather than a blade fitted into a handle. That bodes well for the durability and longevity of this knife. It’s also very sharp and easy to wield.

I love the weight and feel of this Cleaver. It cuts smoothly. I used it on butter steaks to slice for Pepper steak, made very even slices. Also used it to see how it would handle slicing onions, peppers, celery, etc. Most people would think, why would she use a Cleaver, the answer to that would be why not! Anyways, the only thing I forgot to take pictures before, during and after my prep. However today on 09/15/2019 I didn’t forget to take pictures. I took pictures after I cut up two whole chickens. I found the this Cleaver will always be used to halve my whole chickens. No issues getting through breats bone. Highly recommend to all.

I have one cleaver and feel little bit of small and light weight. I purchased this one and boy, I love it. The weight is just great. Cuttting rib bones no problem. It becomes my daily favorite kitchen knife now.
