Linoroso nakiri knife 7 inch japanese chef knife, asian vegetable cleaver kitchen knife, german high carbon stainless steel usuba knife with full tang ergonomic handle for home kitchen and restaurantvisit the linoroso store
Features
The linoroso classic series of knives are made from imported expertly forged german thyssenkrupp high carbon stainless steel, one of the best culinary cutlery materials on the market. Through a rigorous hardening process that involves vacuum heat treatment and rapid cooling, the blade comes in at staggering 56+ on the rockwell hardness scale. Outstanding craftsmanship, cutting-edge technology. Peak performance has never looked so good at this price.
The integration of chromium into the stainless steel results in a product that is extremely robust, durable, firm, and rust/corrosion resistant. The blade of this 7” nakiri knife is hand polished that precisely achieves an 11-14 degrees per side for maximum sharpness and edge retention. Carefully tapered for improved hardness, flexibility, and minimal slicing resistance. Tall blade height provides useful knuckle clearance.
It’s a traditional japanese knife for working with vegetables and produce, is great for kitchen needs like julienning carrots, slicing tomatoes, dicing onions, chopping peppers, peeling potatoes, trimming celery or paring avocados, perfect for busy kitchens.
Full tang and forged bolster for superb robustness and creating the perfect balance between the blade and handle. The unique shape is ergonomically crafted for optimum comfort, control, and agility.

I hadn’t thought about needing a new knife until I recently committed to a new diet that was largely plant centered.I’m no slouch in the kitchen but I noticed that many of the vegetables I was slicing or choppingremained connected once done. I typically use a rocking action with my “go to” 12” chef’s knife that handles most jobs. However, bell peppers or onions would have several odd pieces not fully cut and separated.

Enter the Nakiri knife, used largely in Japanese cooking and specifically for cutting vegetables. The Linorosa version of this knife appears to be well made from German stainless steel.Three rivets holds the full tang, butted blade to the waterproof plastic handle. It is dishwasher safe, super sharp and with proper care and maintenance is sure to stay that way. Cutting through tomatoes was a breeze, sliding through the tough skin with ease using the recommended push-pull motion for vegetables. This is a unique knife that is very well made and filling a specific service in the kitchen at an affordable price.I highly recommend this knife.

Got two of these German steel knives from linoroso for different purposes. They shipped perfectly and were both sharp enough out of the box to cut paper. Excited to use them but did notice that the little rubber guards at the front and back that protect the blade and user were a little hard to put back on when done and we are worried about losing them. I think a knife block or magnetic holder will be in order for safest storage.

I am the type of person that likes to try knives on different things no matter if it’s lettuce , chicken or even tomato, and this knife is awesome, normally I use a serrated knife to cut tomatoes because unless it’s extremely sharp then a straight edge doesn’t do the trick with mashing the tomatoes (yuck) but this knife cuts it all! I highly recommend it. It’s also German steel which is super nice.

I am very impressed with this knife.

I was not familiar with Linoroso but this looked like a well made knife (I was shopping for a Nakiri knife anyway).

First impressions were excellent- packaging was great. Heavy duty, very sharp blade.

It slices very well- if you are used to rocking your blade, you will have problems- you have to slice with this flat blade.

I would compare quality to my other high end German knives.
