I’ve only used this knife for a week or so, but I can already tell it’s much better than the one I had. It has some weight to it, but the balance is good. And it’s REALLY sharp! I breezed through dicing a large onion in much less time than I ever did with my old chef’s knife. I don’t think I’ll have to sharpen this knife, unlike my old one that dulled after just a few uses. Definitely worth the price!*Update* Four blood sacrifices later- this knife is VERY sharp. You’ve been warned!!

Linoroso 8” Chef’s Knife was delivered fully sharpened and ready to do some meal prep work. I’m just a mom who loves to cook, not a chef or professional cook. This knife is well balanced with the handle resting comfortably in the palm of the hand. The blade is not sharpened on the back edge (the edge closest to the handle) but that works for me. I used it to cut a beef roast and it did a great job. I will definitely purchase more of this brand ofknife to complete the set.

So far so good! It came in a very sturdy and thick cardboard box that would be ideal to give this as a gift. The knife has a good weight but the balance is slightly off from center… but not a big deal. The rivets and handle are smooth and it has a good grip. It came very sharp and I was able to use it right out of the box to cut meat and cheese. So far no complaints! This is a large knife, so someone with petite hands may find it too large for every day use.
