I bought this because I did not have a designated area for my bread. I just put it on the toaster and notice that they did not last very long due to heat from the stove. I love this bread box. My bread has remained fresh for the past week. Only thing I would advise is to make sure you completely close the window each time.

What a beautiful and highly functional bread box. I have had mAny breadboxes but none of them compare to this one. It has two shelves for more storage. It closes nice and tight to keep the bread fresh longer. It’s beautifully finished with wood and glass

Fully. Assembled. And not metal. The internals had a bit of a wood treatment fragrance. I expect it to dissipate with time, and everything Im storing in it has a wrapper, so it shouldnt affect the food. This bread box is a great option for storing baked goods in an organized manner and safe from pests.

I love this bread box! It is just like it was pictured. It looks great on the counter and holds lots of breads. Even my loaf of French bread fit easily. It is sturdy so can stand alone on the counter without being place against a wall so you can place ot anywhere. It really freed up space by keeping all my breads together! Very happy with this item!
