I love this ceiling fan. I purchased two. Easy to install.They are silent and properly balanced right out of the box.The blades are black on one side and a weathered gray wood look on the other. I am using them in bedrooms and my pics reflect each style – one with the black blades and one with the wood look blades.Hope this is helpful.

It’s exactly as described! I needed a flush mount (or as close to) ceiling fan for low ceilings in a flex space. This fan is perfect. It was not easy to put together, so if you’re a super novice at hanging lights, I would keep that in mind. With the directions, it’s not impossible but took me longer than I anticipated. This is probably the 6th fan I’ve hung and all others were basically ready to hang in comparison.
