Boatright Comforter Set

I LOVE this comforter!It was way more than I imagined it would be.If you are contemplating buying it dont think anymore…buy!So let me address the number one negative comment and thats about it coming apart or unraveling.Here’s the deal with this.. those beautiful sections you see ARE NOT PRINTED! Thats real sewn sections that are different textures and materials from a textured Jacquard to a silky cotton and there’s even wide ribbon sewn across.If you sew (like I do) you realized that attaching different weights and textures and materials together isn’t easy.Each of those different colored sections is sewn together and doing that right is not easy.

That said, my own comforter in spite of rough handling (I pull it all over the place and toss and turn) has not frayed, come apart, or shown loose threads in the 4 months I have had it.Its holding its shape beautifully.

What’s so amazing about this comforter is the craftsmanship in it.I cant believe how inexpensive it is.The colors and textures are really beautiful.All of these sections are sewn together and onto one big very soft light colored fabric that makes the underside very soft and comfy (I have a few times slept under it without a sheet).

The weight of the comforter is interesting because the top material makes it a little heavy while the stuffing and soft under material makes it light.So call it a medium weight.Whatever it is stuffed with will warm you up. I used to also keep a blanket on the bed with a comforter because I am cold natured.I dont need the blanket with this.My hot blooded SO will only stay under it for a little while then tosses it off (as he does with most comforters).

The colors were exactly as pictured which was important to me as you see the back wall of our bedroom and my attempts to color coordinate and decorate.The comforter dresses it up beautifully and I feel like I am in a luxury resort.The included throw pillows were an unexpected bonus and well made.

I paired it with the Felicienne Gray Quilted Headboard also pictured and they look beautiful together.The amazing glass lamps were from Ashley’s.

Overall I am very happy with this bedspread and if it starts to fray or pull apart at those sections I like it enough to keep it mended.Its definitely going to be a favorite and on the bed for a long time.

Love it !!! It is pretty!! I don’t ha e the square pillows on it because the pillows I bought to put in them , weren’t big enough ( they are the gray ones in back)

My 8 Piece comforter set is absolutely gorgeous.It’s everything in quality and colors I was looking for.The colors are precisely on point! I am trying to patiently wait for my new bed to arrive to get this new ensemble magazine perfect.

This set up just sent the room over the edge.Looks great and wonderful quality.

I really love the comforter set. It is the perfect colors for my decor. The only drawback that I can point out, is that there are TONS of loose threads that I have trimmed off. This causes some concerns I may have about washing the item in the washing machine in the future.
