This has a very nice design and feels very sturdy. It is simple to put together. Hinges are good quality. Using it as a bench for the kitchen dining table/ storage for outside toys. Has 3 sections on the inside. Has a bit of a smell when it first comes out of the box like new lacquer, but it has diminished somewhat over 2 weeks (not very noticeable anymore).

I bought two of these for bench seating near our back door.I am very happy with them, the top opens with them placed against the wall (I was worried it would hit the wall), the quality feels great, shipping was fast and came undamaged.Assembly was easy except for attaching the bench required two people.The hinge is assistive so the heavy bench won’t slam down or crush your fingers.

I love the dark color and quality of this bench. The hinges broke off the first one and one of the legs arrived with a crack. Wayfair sent a replacement in a timely manner. Their customer service was excellent. You definitely need two people to attach the hinges and safety to the top. The assembly was easy and the instructions are clear.

So far this is sturdy and pretty!Perfectly holds my puzzles, family games, nebulizer, and Instant Pot (small house needs storage).
