We like this island. Fits perfect in our remodeled kitchen. First thing to always do is remove everything from box and put like pieces together to be sure you have everything. Like pieces ONLY have a number or letter on one of the pieces. This makes it simpler to follow the assembly instructions in booklet. Do same with hardware. There are 50 some little screws so a magnetic screwdriver I recommend as I have fat fingers. lol it took me about 3 hours to assemble. The has a groove on the bottom that goes on the back where the back board fits into.
I didn’t notice the groove at first and had it in front. Be sure hinges are on correctly. Assembly is Not difficult just tedious. Great luck and enjoy.
