This dog seat was easy to install, fits securely into the passenger bucket seat and provides a sturdy seat for my cocker spaniel.The elevated seat allows room for my purse, a water bowl, etc below it.I will be returning the seat, however, because even though my dog is only 19 pounds, her length is too long to lie down.As a senior dog, it is common for her to become sleepy driving in the car, so a wider bed is needed.
