Wow what an inexpensive yet impressive facelift for our back door! This is a really nice alternative to the traditional fabric awning we had for years. The clear poly also allows the light to shine through while still protecting you and your door from the elements. The piece that slides over the poly at the tip of the awning is a matte silver color but my husband spray painted it black for a more cohesive look. Otherwise no install tweaks needed.

We needed a porch roof over front door to protect us from the pouring rain that occurs here. I saw this on the Wayfair website and thought it would be perfect. I was a little worried that it might be a bit flimsy, but now that it’s installed seems to be quite sturdy, and is a perfect solution for front door.

Even though it does take 2 people to install, I really like these light weight easy to install awnings; especially if you only have wood siding to drill into. 🙂
It adds a lot of curb appeal to my property as well and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a lightweight more affordable awning option.
