Great investment for the kids! Assembly was fairly easy. My husband started the base and I finished the top while he was at work. Ours came missing one part – the second blue string for the two compartments on the right side. Each one is supposed to have two strings to open it.I will have to contact wayfair or replace both so they match. Other than that, no complaints. We love the awning for the sunny days to have a place to play in the shade. It’s worth every penny!

My adult son assembled it. All of the pieces were there and it looked great. Yesterday two of my grandchildren came over and we played in it.I had purchased some toys for playing in sand. We had so much fun! The two plastic containers were filled with water. We put sand in molds, added some water, and turned the molds over…presto we made many sand objects. They loved the feel of sand on their feet too. Great sandbox.Love it!!

This sandbox is great. It took about an hour for me to put together. When my husband came home, we put in 15 bags of sand. Within an hour, we had four kids in it, ages 3, 7, 7, and 8. There was plenty of room.The storage is wonderful and the tubs for play and water are lots of fun.Great purchase.It will need to be sealed later this year.The shipping was super quick.The canopy is a bit flimsy,but well see what happens.So glad we got this one.

Long time kids toy and certainly to get a lot of love and enjoyment from your little one!this is big enough for multiple young kids to play and the side storage wood bins and the plastic bins are great for water/sand play as well.Lots of fun and imaginative play with this toy – definitely worth the investment and a toy that will get lots of use.

GREAT sandbox and my 2 boys (1 and 3 1/2) are in it all the time. Fairly easy to assemble (<1hr), although there were no instructions in the box. KidCraft is awesome though and they have assembly instructions for all of their products on their website.
Pros: Well designed with thoughtful storage areas. Attractive appearance
Cons: Canopy sags enough to allow for water collection during rainfall. Cover for sand is mesh, so you'll need a tarp to keep the sand dry

As grandparents we searched many stores for the right sandbox for our twin grandsons. This sandbox was an excellent choice. Not only is there plenty room for my 3 yr old grandsons but theirtwo cousins played in it as well. The sandbox was easy to put together, comes with a canopy and a cover when the box is not in use. I have seen the same sandbox for over $100 more on another large box store. This is one of our best finds and my grandsons love it.
