Was perfect for someone to use as a foot rest when they were staying for awhile!And had room for a serving tray .when the Grandkids visit, they like to put it against a wall and use it for seating. The shelf underneath is a great place for books, magazines and toys sometimes!

Using it for more than an year in my family entryway. Looks better in real than the photo. Nicely blends with the wall color and my carpet. Wood is very light, not heavy. Easy to move around. I would be interested to see how it wears over the years.
