This ottoman has completely transformed my single woman apartment into a place of laughter, comfort, and companionship. I named him Otto, and his stature is so sturdy and sound that hes become an instant pillar of the household. I can sit on him (I weigh about 130lbs), I can use him as a side table for an entire open notebook, I can rest my feet on him, he can stand guard against the neighborhood riffraff, the possibilities are endless. He has such a solid presence that I have found myself giving him an absent minded pat on more than one occasion. The only issue I had with constructing him was that the screw with the two washers was to short to attach his head, so I ended up foregoing the washers and screwing it straight on in. Still feels very sturdy nonetheless. Thank you for providing such a lovely inanimate companion for the single living women of the world.

I love it! The directions to put him together are easy to understand but a little hard to do. I ended up putting his head on my desk, face down with the hole facing up. Then I put the screw in through the body and placed it on top of the head, then screwed it in. This will probably not make sense to anyone who hasn’t put one together but I hope that this will be helpful for someone who is looking for tips on how to do it. Anyway, I love my yak. He lives in my office and his name is Yak Black. He’s soft and fuzzy and I haven’t had any issues with his fur. He’s great as an ottoman or as a side table.

I absolutely adore these little guys. I was surprised at how big they are, and although they are light they are sturdy. You could make them heavier by storing items inside their tummys if you so desire. I just stored their covers in there in case we move. This was a perfect solution to deciding not to buy a recliner couch and a fraction of the cost.

This is the cutest darn thing ever. It is easy to assemble, although the head was a little tricky. I love how the top of the ottoman is flat so you can pop a tray on it. I’m planning to get another for the office. I’m aware I’m nuts.
