Pizza peel is a beautiful wood piece.I really think i may use it for a cheese board , but would not use to cut on.Its to pretty! Its as pictured in the ad if not prettier.Beautiful top quality piece.

Beautifully smooth after a couple of generous applications of mineral oil and a good buffing! Bought 2 of these and waited a few weeks after seasoning before using them. With a good dusting of flour, the raw pizzas slid off nicely into the oven. The wood is too thick to slide back under a cooked pizza to remove from the oven, but that’s no bother since I use a pair of tongs to grab the front edge and slide the pizza onto a thin perforated pan to cool before slicing. I’ve also used the pizza peels to hold hot quesadillas for cutting and serving. Very happy with this purchase!

This is a really nice Acacia wood pizza peel!
Before using I gave it a coating of Watco clear wood oil. This soaks into the top layer of wood and cures within 24 hours.
Oiling the wood prevents staining, highlights the wood grain, and makes cleaning it easy.
