These pillow protectors are very well made.The inside is made of the material a mattress protective pad would have but the outside is very soft.I was apprehensive because they are made of 100% polyester which is normally hot to sleep on and I am a 100% cotton person.But as long as you put a pillow case on them you will never notice the difference.I liked the fact that the protectors actually fit my pillow and I did not have a lot of excess material.Also, they recommend hand washing and air drying them but they washed just fine for me on the gentle cycle with my sheets.I also dried them in the dryer on “low” heat with no issues.My only recommendation is that you turn them inside out half way through the drying process because the inside material will stay wet/damp if you don’t.Overall I am very happy with this product and would definitely recommend.
