    I only use this tool for parmesan cheese and it works great. You need to be gentle using it. Don’t put the cheese rind in it. As for other cheeses, why not use a standard hand grater as other cheeses are easier to grate but parmesan needs a special tool.Also, when cleaning after use, let the grater dry out overnight to make cleaning easier.
