Their products have been redesigned with consumers in mind. They have changed Classic Design Standard Single Barn Door Hardware Kit to have fewer pieces so installation is now more simple and quick. All tracks below 8′ are now using the American Standard spacing (16″) and are one single track now instead of being composed of smaller tracks. All tracks now have additional holes at the end of both sides for expanding the track size. For tracks 8′ and above, connecting tracks is now simple and quick, using a junction plate at the ends of the tracks to connect.

Hardware looks great. Bolt holes are 15 inches a part so be carefully when looking for studs.

Worked fantastically and looks great. I ordered this and decided to build my own barn door since I have low ceilings and couldn’t find one in my size. The ability to order various track lengths is also a huge plus, since the space it’s in was limited. I went with the 84″ track and built my door out of high-quality cedar planks for around $130 total – screaming deal compared to the expensive full kits. Note that the installation will require you to measure well and have some decent woodworking skills compared to buying a complete kit.

Installation was pretty easy. We used an extra piece of board to bolt to the studs, since the track didn’t line up right. Pretty simple and easy to install to wall and door
