Looks great, and works well (although we have a smallish, 20 lb dog). My husband stuck the base to the floor with double sided tape, so we can just slide the panel to the side, when we need to pass (it’s not a heavily frequented area). Otherwise, it stays in place, keeping our dog out of the area, and at the same time looks very nice and unobtrusive, since it’s clear.

I absolutely love this pet gate. It is freestanding but heavy enough that even when my Pomeranians stand up against it, it doesnt tip over. Its also easily movable, and can be cleaned with soap and water.
