I know its silly to get excite about a kitchen utensil, but I LOVE this masher!! I never cared for the standard masher, so a few years ago I was introduced to a very odd looking masher that is made of nylon and I never thought it would mash anything! It did! And very well too! (I still dont know how it worked!!), but after getting 3 in the last 3 years, and each one breaking within a year, at a cost of 15 dollars, I had enough!I was on the hunt for a new masher. I am SO glad I decided to get this one! Within a couple minutes, the potato cubes were beautifully “whipped” potatoes, without using a mixer! No lumps, no chunks! I am baffled as to how this “broken spatula” (as my son called it) works, butWOW does it work!! I’ve already recommended it to a few friends!
PS: I recently had shoulder surgery and do not have a lot of arm strength… it is NOT needed for this masher! Which is a HUGE plus!!

It’s JA Henckels, so you know it’s a quality product. I have this item out with the rest of my kitchen utensils, and it looks sleek and sophisticated. Mashes potatoes much better than the previous one I had from another brand.

This is a great Masher! The round hook on the end does take a bit to get used too. At first it was getting in the way of my grip. Now I can’t imagine using a different one.
